Lets start with the "bad news" part. I don't like this picture very much; the suggested candle-lit dinner is just really corny to me. I thought that it would be funny to have a romantic dinner of yarn, but it just ends up looking like a brochure picture to me.
This Lime Jello a la googly-eyes is a good representation of the series. Its juicy-delicious looking, and its bright colors kind of hypnotize you into thinking that you want to eat it. I hoped that all of my pictures would have this quality.
This is the image that I thought was most successful. I think that its moody and interesting. I think that the knife's block makes it look more barbaric, the dull brass of the ashtray is a very pleasing color, and all of the converging lines make the work dramatic.
